Blueprint
The drawing behind the building — plans, sections and technical elegance.
Curator's statement
Blueprint celebrates the drawing rather than the building. Plan, section and elevation have their own austere beauty — fine linework, considered annotation, the logic of a thing laid bare. These are original architectural compositions, not reproductions of real plans, made for people who like to see how things are put together.
Design philosophy
Fine technical linework and drawing conventions. Original compositions — never a reproduction of a real building's plans.
Colour system
Blueprint blue, white line, graphite, bone, faint red annotation.
Shape language
Plan and section views, fine linework, grids and dimensioning, orthographic logic.
Composition
Every piece must be a genuinely original composition. No imitation of an identifiable artist's distinctive style, no reproduction of an existing artwork, and never derived from another DALFASTART artwork.
Ideal spaces
Studies, offices, architectural and engineering practices, workshops.
