City Skylines
Cities reduced to silhouette, layer and light.
Curator's statement
City Skylines strips cities to their profile. Towers become bands of flat tone, distance turns to haze, and windows read as scattered light rather than detail. No city is identifiable — these are original composite skylines, so the work belongs to whoever hangs it rather than to a place they may never have been.
Design philosophy
Original composite skylines — deliberately no identifiable real city. Silhouette, layered haze, scattered light.
Colour system
Dusk blue, warm window gold, charcoal, haze grey, deep indigo.
Shape language
Layered building silhouettes, atmospheric depth, scattered light points, wide horizons.
Composition
Every piece must be a genuinely original composition. No imitation of an identifiable artist's distinctive style, no reproduction of an existing artwork, and never derived from another DALFASTART artwork.
Ideal spaces
Apartments, offices, hotels, urban interiors.
Print formats
1:1, 2:3, 3:2, panoramic.
