Pressed Botanicals borrows the format of the herbarium: one specimen, centred, described with care against plain ground. The stillness is the point — a single stem given the whole frame and studied. Original botanical illustration, elegant enough for a dining room and precise enough for a study.
Design philosophy
One specimen per frame, centred against plain ground, herbarium calm and precision.
Colour system
Parchment, sage, muted olive, soft charcoal, dried rose.
Shape language
Single stems and leaves, symmetrical placement, fine botanical detail against plain ground.
Composition
Every piece must be a genuinely original composition. No imitation of an identifiable artist's distinctive style, no reproduction of an existing artwork, and never derived from another DALFASTART artwork.
