Winter Light

The particular clarity of winter — low sun, long shadows, cold air and warm windows.

Curator's statement

Winter Light is not about snow so much as about how winter changes seeing. The sun sits low and edges sharpen; the world reduces to a few pale tones and then a lit window makes them warm by contrast. This collection works in that narrow, beautiful range — bare structure, cold blue-grey, and the small warmth that makes it bearable. Original contemporary compositions for the months when a room has to do more of the work.

Design philosophy

Reduced palette, sharpened edges, bare structure warmed by a single point of light.
